It is irresponsible, immoral and unhuman act that should never happen. Moroccan citizens, especially the younger ones, should never be used as a tool or a weapon to make pressure on Spain after it recieved the Polisario front's leader "Brahim Ghali" for medical treatment.
Do we have to let our children die by sinking in the sea while attempting to leave their country of origin to Spain, for diplomatic victory? And what would guarantee that such victory could happen?
It is scandalous behavior in front of the international community especially the Eropean Union, and I wonder if some Moroccans still have the courage to say the Morocco is the best nation in the world? How could it be if we still see our younger people put their lives in danger by swimming to another country where they might find better opportunities ? And what made it worst this time is that it all happened in front of the naked eye of the Moroccan authorities, which suggests that they probably encouraged all those 10 000 citizens to cross the borders for deplomatic interests as I mentioned above.
I do understand the Sahara/Southern provinces as the central issue to Morocco, but it should never sacrifice its teenager citizens in an unguaranteed way. What happened in Ceuta untill now has yeilded negative results on many levels, and we should correct this in the upcoming years and show to the world the opposite: that Moroccans' lives are precious and valuable, and we work hard to improve education, health care, and build projects to create good paying jobs for the population.
